Amanda's Tattoos

Amanda is a Fantasy and Children's Book Illustrator and Tattoo Apprentice.

​

She possesses her MFA in Children's Book Illustration from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA (2016) and her BA in Art Education from Westfield State University in Westfield, MA (2013). Her work has shown in various galleries, such as the Monserrat College of Art in Berkley, MA (2022), the Richard Michelson Gallery in Northampton, MA (2018), and the Arno Mars gallery in Westfield, MA (2020). She has obtained awards such as the Richard Michelson Emerging Artist Award (2018), and the Tricksters Art Gallery in Berkeley, CA (2014).

She has found solace in these powerful aspects, creatures and worlds of the unreal, where her art has been able to have freedom of expression, growth, imagination, and exploration, as well as providing a place of solace for herself and for others.
